Oscar Figueroa brings excitement to Robert Kananaj Gallery with a solo exhibition of new work. Oscar enters simply into conversation with found materials, in the blink of a thought or feeling. Playing effortlessly with words, ideas and concepts, Figueroa pushes the button and the material speaks. Our mundane things are visited by an alien, observant and socially aware: Poetry witnessed within both artist and material.

Oscar Figueroa (b. 1990, Hamilton, Ontario) currently lives and works in Toronto. He graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design University in 2013 with a BFA in Drawing & Painting, and a minor in English studies. He has exhibited solo and group shows in Toronto, including a solo show curated by Gary Michael Dault. Me A Talker is Oscar Figueroa’s second solo show with RKG.
