Szonja Vucsetics

Born in 1982 in Budapest, Hungary, Szonja Vucsetics immigrated to Canada at the age of ten. She graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2007, and since then has been living by painting in Toronto.

Szonja's work proposes human life on good terms with nature and fantasy. Moods interact to evoke outlets of wonder, spontaneity opens her to the subconscious, allowing this to become the experience of the viewer. Colour entangle with both abstraction and reality in creating the image of symbolic, expressive self-reflection.
